After a short break in Week 4, the Fall Exposure League presented by NEPA Hoops is heating back up. We’re heading into Week 5 with fresh energy and plenty of storylines to follow.
These are the five names you need to know heading into this week’s slate.

AJ Brown (Team Dark Blue)
After earning an honorable mention selection during Week 4 of the Fall Exposure League, AJ Brown comes out of the bye week looking to continue to impact winning for Team Dark Blue.
While Team Dark Blue lost both of their Week 4 games by a combined 6 points, Brown delivered with key buckets throughout to keep his team close.
In a 66-62 loss to Team Pink, Brown tallied 5 points, 2 rebounds, and 2 assists and connected on a three-pointer.
The 5’10” sophomore guard turned it up a level in Dark Blue’s 92-90 loss to Team Yellow. Brown scored 17 points and added 4 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 steals.
He knocked down all three of his free-throw attempts as well.
Brown’s name hasn’t appeared on any of the leaderboards just yet, but he still has one more week in the regular season to change that.
If his Week 4 performance was any indication, AJ Brown’s breakout moment in the FXL might be just around the corner.

Brian Dempsey (Team Light Blue)
As the final week of the FXL is upon us, Brian Dempsey needs to be a key contributor should Team Light Blue have success in the postseason.
He certainly lived up to the hype in Week 4.
If it wasn’t for a heartbreaking overtime loss to Team Green, Dempsey would’ve secured Team Light Blue a crucial 2-0 weekend.
The 6’4″ guard poured in 16 points, 7 rebounds, and 2 assists in a 82-71 win over Team Purple — drilling 4 three-pointers.
In the overtime loss to Team Green, Dempsey added 15 points, 6 rebounds, 2 assists, and a steal. All of his points were three-pointers — finishing with 9 on the day.
He showed that he’s much more than just a shooter, though.
Dempsey tied for 14th on the overall defensive impact leaderboard (REB, STL, BLK).
Heading into the postseason, Dempsey’s shooting and two-way presence make him one of the biggest X-factors in the FXL.

Tyler Lombardo (Team Pink)
Some of the players at the FXL are just pure-scorers. Not only can Tyler Lombardo score, but he can play make and guard too.
The Delaware Valley senior once again strung together an all-around week, guiding Team Pink to a 1-1 Week 4.
In Team Pink’s 66-62 win over Team Dark Blue, Lombardo tallied 7 points, 8 rebounds, 3 assists, and a block.
Even in the 69-61 loss to Team Grey, the 6’3″ guard showed off the versatility once again — totaling 5 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists, 5 steals, and a block.
After not making an honorable mention list until Week 4, Lombardo slotted in on two leaderboards as well.
He ranked 7th on overall defensive impact (REB, STL, BLK) with his average of 8.5, while he also tied for 6th in assists with 4 assists per game.
Lombardo is one of those guys that coaches love to have on their team.
He’s got a team-first mentality and is always looking to cause havoc on defense.
Whether it’s facilitating, defending, or finishing, Lombardo does whatever it takes to help his team win — and the FXL is taking notice.

Brody Martin (Team Green)
Scranton Prep may have lost Brycen Martin to graduation, but his brother Brody is proving the Martins still run the show in the FXL.
The 6’1″ junior returned back to the league in a big way after missing the last couple of weeks.
Martin’s presence provided an extra boost in insuring Team Green’s 2-0 Week 4.
The Prep guard added 6 points, 10 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 steals in a 74-68 win over Team Yellow.
Martin played solid again in an 81-79 oveertime win over Team Light Blue, contributing with 2 points, 2 rebounds, 4 assists, and 2 blocks.
His dedication to the defensive side of the floor helped him tie for the 8th spot on Week 4’s overall defensive impact (REB, STL, BLK) leaderboard.
Martin gives maximum effort every defensive possession, posing as a nightmare for his opponents.
His commitment to the glass often results to his team getting more possessions.
Back in action and making an impact, Martin is primed to play a major role in Team Green’s postseason run.

Charlie Skoff (Team Yellow)
It didn’t take long for Charlie Skoff to make his presence felt in the FXL.
Even though he just joined the league prior to Week 4, Skoff has already impressed as a key asset to Team Yellow.
The Scranton Prep guard provided timely scoring for Team Yellow in both Week 4 games.
Skoff lost his FXL debut against Team Green 74-68, but he scored 12 points, including three triples, along with 5 rebounds, 2 assists, and 1 steal.
He followed that performance with his first 20-point game, tallying 21 points, 2 rebounds, 1 assist, 3 steals, and 1 block in a thrilling 92-90 win over Team Dark Blue.
The 6’2″ forward ranked 11th on Week 4’s scoring leaderboard, averaging 16.5 points per game.
While he’s smaller than some forwards, Skoff makes up for his height with his toughness and grit on the defensive end.
He’s more than willing to do the little things to help his team win.
After only one week, Skoff’s toughness and scoring touch have made him one of the FXL’s quickest-rising names.
